Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Computer Vision Engineer to join our team in Pune. As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing AI-based image and video analytics solutions. Your expertise in Python, OpenCV, AI/ML techniques, PyTorch framework, and other relevant languages and tools will be crucial in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and deploy AI-based image and video analytics applications using Python, OpenCV, and PyTorch framework for model training.
• Fine-tune pre-trained models and train models from scratch for tasks such as classification, regression, and object detection using deep learning techniques.
• Integrate camera systems with AI vision applications to enable real-time data processing and analysis.
• Collaborate with the development team to design and implement efficient algorithms and models for image and video processing tasks.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the overall system architecture and ensure seamless integration of AI vision applications.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging of AI vision applications to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
• Assist in the deployment, onsite commissioning, and maintenance of AI vision systems, including troubleshooting and providing technical support as needed.
• Hands-on experience in selecting appropriate camera and GPU hardware for project implementations.
• Utilise industrial experience in part measurement, part presence/absence detection, orientation analysis, surface defect detection, and other relevant applications.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML techniques, PyTorch framework, and technologies related to computer vision.

Qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming language.
• Good understanding of Al-based image and video analytics concepts.
• Familiarity with OpenCV and other image processing libraries, Al/ML techniques and frameworks.
• Experience in industrial vision application for classification, regression, and object detection tasks using deep learning
• Experience with camera integration and system implementation. Open to travel whenever required.
• Hands-on experience in selecting camera systems, lighting and GPU hardware for project implementations.
• Onsite vision system implementation experience is mandatory.
