: The Computer Science program at CSU Channel Islands has openings for lecturer positions to teach undergraduate courses in computing. Examples of course offerings include, but are not limited to, Computer Literacy, Web Development, Introduction to Programming in languages such as C, Python, JavaScript and Java. Minimum Degree Requirements: A Masters Degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution. Required Qualifications: * Applicants should have a Masters Degree in Computer Science or a closely related field from an accredited institution or at least 5 years of teaching computing-related courses in either a college or industry setting. * Applicants should demonstrate the commitment to effectively work with and engage a diverse student population and evidence of how they would successfully mentor minoritized students with special focus on Latinx, Black/African American, American Indian, and Asian/Asian American/Pacific Islander students. Preferred Qualifications: * Masters Degree in Computer Science. * 3+ years of teaching experience within a college or industry setting. * Extensive industry experience in the computing field.
