DUTIES : Develop and test code and script for computer programs to improve reactor accident analysis functions and power plant training simulation systems, Upgrade programs to increase operating efficiency and adapt to new requirements, Develop programs for thermal-hydraulics & severe accident research, NSSS thermal-hydraulic module for full-scope simulators, Develop nuclear reactor safety analysis code, Conduct trial runs of programs and software applications, Write documentation of program development and revisions, Write instructions to guide end users. WORK LOCATION : Frederick, MD SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS : Work experience in FORTRAN, C++, Thermal-hydraulics, Nuclear power plant simulator development, Power plant reactor safety analysis and safety code development, MARS code development, RELAP5 code, Safety analysis code - SPACE. The position requires a related degree and 2 years of related experience.
