Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience programming CNC equipment using NX software and will be proficient in managing various CNC machine controls, including Fanuc, Heidenhain, and other industry-standard platforms. This role involves producing high-precision components for the aerospace industry, ensuring optimal machine and operator productivity while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Programming: Program CNC machines using NX platform to produce complex aerospace components with high precision and accuracy.
Machine Control Expertise: Work with a range of machine controls including Fanuc, Heidenhain, and other industry-standard systems.
Tool Design and Optimization: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to design, select, and optimize cutting tools for manufacturing processes.
Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate machining processes and implement improvements to reduce cycle times, increase tool life, and optimize productivity.
Troubleshooting: Resolve programming and machining issues, offering solutions to improve machine performance and quality.
Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, machinists, and other areas of the business to ensure smooth production flow and meet tight customer schedules.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience as a CNC Programmer in an aerospace or precision machining environment. Prefer appropriate certifications or formal technical education.
Software Expertise: Must be proficient in NX software platform CNC programming.
Machine Control Experience: Familiarity with Fanuc, Heidenhain, and other prominent CNC machine controls.
Tool Design & Optimization: Experience with tool selection, design, and process optimization is a plus.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of G-code, M-code, and machine operation.
Attention to Detail: Ability to work with high precision and adhere to aerospace industry standards.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, particularly in a fast-paced production environment.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and providing clear instructions.
Aerospace Experience: Previous experience in the aerospace manufacturing industry is highly desirable
