Job Title: CNC Machinist

📍 Location: Kent, WA

💰 Compensation: Set Pay Rate: $45.26

📅 Schedule: D Shift – Friday-Sunday 5:00pm-5:30am

📑 Contract: 6-month duration, potential extension or full-time conversion

What You'll Do:

✅ Program, set up, and machine 3, 4, and 5-axis mills & multi-axis lathes

✅ Fabricate precision components with tight tolerances for spaceflight hardware

✅ Work with engineers to document, standardize, and improve machining processes

✅ Ensure product quality and conformance to engineering specifications

✅ Play a role in human spaceflight innovations

What We’re Looking For:

🔹 5+ years of experience machining aerospace components

🔹 Hands-on experience with nickel-based alloys, copper, aluminum, titanium

🔹 Skilled in operating Mazak, Kuraki, Hermle, OM, and DMG Mori CNC machines

🔹 Proficiency in GD&T (ASME Y14.5M-1994), blueprint reading, Fanuc, Siemens, Mazatrol

🔹 Ability to provide Design for Manufacturing (DFM) feedback

Preferred Skills:

✨ Tooling & fixture design

✨ Vertical Turning Lathe (VTL) experience

✨ Outside processing knowledge (heat treat, plating, EDM, grinding)

✨ Mastercam X6+ or Unigraphics NX CNC programming

✨ CMM programming & operation
