CAD Technician Responsibilities:

DAY TO DAY

• Creating detailed drawings of material handling equipment, work areas, and material handling components based on current examples.
• Providing design support for future initiatives.
• Developing drawings requiring a high level of detail in both plan views and corresponding elevation views.
• Working with very little direction to create drawing sets.
• Developing drawings that will satisfy the need to standardize workspaces and designs across a large network of fulfillment operations.

MUST HAVES

• Minimum 5 years of operating experience in CAD with the ability to work with and manage layers.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience drawing in a warehouse or fulfillment center environment.
• Basic knowledge of material handling and storage systems.

PLUSSES

• Conveyor design and layout experience.
• Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree.
