About the Role:

This is a high-visibility, individual contributor role, reporting directly to the CCO. You will oversee all aspects of consumer and commercial compliance, while also assisting the BSA Officer. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and is excited by the opportunity to grow alongside the organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain the Bank’s consumer and commercial compliance programs.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with senior leadership on compliance strategy and execution.
  • Prepare for and assist with regulatory examinations and internal audits.
  • Identify compliance risks and provide guidance to the business.
  • Participate in bank risk assessments and compliance testing
  • Foster a strong compliance culture aligned with our community bank values.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in a banking compliance role, preferably within a community or regional bank.
  • Strong knowledge of consumer and commercial banking regulations.
  • Working knowledge of BSA/AML requirements (certification preferred but not required).
  • Ability to work independently and “wear many hats” in a growing organization.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for community banking and a growth-stage environment.
