Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Compliance Assistant - Documentation Specialist located in Kanpur. The Compliance Assistant will be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance, conducting thorough analysis, and supporting legal and financial requirements. The role involves daily communication with various stakeholders and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations.


Location: Kanpur, India (Company based in Bellevue, Washington, USA)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Joining Date: June 1, 2025

Work Timings: 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM IST

Salary: ₹15,000 - ₹25,000 per month, based on skills and experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist licensing specialists in preparing, drafting, and customizing Documentation.
  • Ensure timely delivery of accurate documents to client dashboards and maintain meticulous digital records.
  • Monitor compliance timelines proactively, ensuring no deadlines are missed.
  • Compile and organize documentation required for audits and routine compliance checks.
  • Coordinate effectively with internal teams (HR, Finance, Operations) to gather supporting documents.
  • Perform preliminary reviews of documents to verify accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain efficient filing systems (digital and physical) while ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Stay current on licensing and compliance regulations to consistently apply best practices.


Required Qualifications:

  • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills for effective inter-departmental collaboration.
  • Proficiency in managing digital records and document systems.
  • Prior experience in compliance or administrative roles is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • A law degree is a plus point.
