Are you a strategic leader with a passion for ensuring regulatory excellence in ingredient manufacturing?
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Regulatory and Compliance Manager to spearhead our regulatory operations, drive compliance initiatives, and foster a culture of adherence to industry standards. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team in navigating complex regulatory landscapes and implementing robust compliance strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Compliance Leadership: Develop and execute comprehensive compliance strategies that align with industry regulations and quality standards, ensuring seamless operations across ingredient manufacturing processes.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to integrate compliance considerations into manufacturing protocols, proactively identifying potential regulatory risks and mitigating them effectively.

  • Certification Management: Lead initial and renewal certification processes with regulatory bodies, maintaining up-to-date documentation and certification status.

  • Regulatory Expertise: Stay ahead of evolving regulatory requirements, providing timely updates to internal teams and facilitating training to ensure regulatory alignment.

  • Vendor and Agency Relations: Cultivate strong relationships with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and third-party certifiers to foster open communication and maintain compliance integrity.

  • Compliance Training & Development: Design and deliver targeted training programs to elevate regulatory knowledge across the organization, reinforcing a culture of compliance.

  • Documentation & Reporting: Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory filings, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

  • Problem Solving & Support: Serve as the go-to resource for regulatory inquiries, providing guidance to cross-functional teams and resolving compliance-related challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Regulatory Affairs, Compliance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in regulatory and compliance roles within the food or ingredient manufacturing sector.

  • Comprehensive understanding of FSMA, FSVP, and global export policies.

  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with a track record of successfully managing regulatory teams.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at liaising with internal teams and external regulatory bodies.

  • Acute attention to detail with superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Certification in regulatory and compliance affairs (RAC, ASQ PCQI, HACCP) is a plus.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
