Compensation Specialist
Our client located in Plano, Texas is seeking a Compensation Specialist to join their team. This is a hybrid, direct hire opportunity, and is a priority search for the client.

Compensation Specialist Role
Lead and manage compensation structures including salary adjustments, bonus programs, and merit increases
Support company-wide compensation strategy aligned with industry standards and business goals
Conduct compensation market research and internal job evaluations to maintain competitive and equitable pay practices
Partner with HR and leadership on pay decisions, promotions, and role classifications
Support job leveling initiatives and maintain job description documentation across all departments
Assist with development and rollout of relocation packages and incentive plans
Create user-friendly compensation statements detailing base pay, bonuses, benefits, and retirement contributions
Administer and support benefits programs including health, dental, life, disability, FSA/HSA, 401(k), and COBRA
Reconcile and process monthly benefit plan invoices and assist with benefit plan audits and system monitoring
Contribute to open enrollment preparation and benefits communications across the organization
Maintain data integrity across HRIS/benefit platforms and ensure compliance with legal requirements
Compensation Specialist Background Profile
High school diploma required; Bachelor degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in compensation analysis or HR roles with a compensation focus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail
Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
Experience with HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Paycom) strongly preferred
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information
