Compensation And Benefits Analyst

We are seeking a Compensation and Benefits Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. About The Role

This junior to mid-level position is ideal for someone with at least 2 years of experience in compensation. In this role, you will design and maintain salary bands, support benefits renewals, and ensure that our compensation practices remain competitive and equitable across the organization. While prior experience in benefits management is not required, we are committed to providing you with the training and support needed to excel in this area.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation Management

  • Global Job Architecture: Participate in the development and implementation of projects, including benchmarking, grading, and internal alignment.
  • Salary Structures: Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of global salary structures and pay bands based on job evaluations and market data.
  • Issue Guidance: Provide expert guidance on compensation-related issues for HR, managers, and employees.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze market survey data, update benchmarking information, and identify trends to inform compensation strategy.
  • Program Administration: Assist in administering global compensation programs, including Workday job profiles and compensation modules using HRIS tools, and prepare reports for senior leadership.
  • HR Generalist: Assist the team with day-to-day core functions.

Benefits Administration

  • Vendor Proposals: Assist with benefits renewals by reviewing and comparing vendor proposals.
  • Open Enrollment: Support the open enrollment process and manage benefits communications.
  • Competitive Analysis: Provide data analysis and insights to help design competitive benefits packages.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all benefits programs comply with relevant regulations and company policies.

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Data Management: Maintain and analyze compensation and benefits data to generate actionable insights.
  • Reporting: Prepare detailed reports for HR leadership, highlighting compensation trends and budget impacts.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of all compensation-related data in our HRIS systems.

Collaboration and Education

  • Partnering: Work closely with HR and department leaders to provide guidance on compensation and benefits matters.
  • Training: Educate managers and employees on salary structures and benefits programs.
  • Resource: Serve as a key resource for addressing employee inquiries related to compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field OR at least 2 years of compensation experience; experience with salary band creation is a plus.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, data analysis) and HRIS systems.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Growth Mindset: A strong willingness to learn and expand your expertise in benefits management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in benefits administration or renewals and knowledge of compensation laws and regulations (e.g., FLSA, Equal Pay Act).
  • Experience with ADP and CompAnalyst
