We are looking for a passionate and results-driven Community Development Manager to join our team and help build a vibrant and engaged community of users. In this role, you will work closely with various internal teams to develop and execute strategies that foster long-term relationships with community members and support our growth goals in Germany.
The ideal candidate is someone who understands how to engage diverse communities, build authentic relationships, and leverage data to drive meaningful growth. You’ll be responsible for crafting tailored strategies to engage with our community, from online platforms to offline events, ensuring our brand remains a trusted partner and source of value for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and implement community growth strategies that resonate with local audiences, ensuring alignment with broader brand objectives
- Create engaging content and initiatives that drive awareness, engagement, and retention
- Manage and grow online communities through social media, forums, and other digital platforms
Event Planning & Engagement:
- Plan and execute virtual and in-person events to strengthen relationships within the community, including meetups, workshops, webinars, and brand collaborations
- Collaborate with local teams to integrate community-building activities into the customer experience
Partnerships & Influencer Relations:
- Cultivate partnerships with local influencers, businesses, and organizations to expand the community network and build brand awareness
- Engage with key community influencers to amplify the brand’s presence and reach
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Use data and community feedback to identify trends, measure success, and continuously optimize community engagement strategies
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to community health and growth
Feedback Loop & Insights:
- Gather and synthesize community feedback to identify opportunities for product or service enhancements
- Serve as the voice of the community within internal teams, ensuring community needs and concerns are represented in decision-making processes
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work with marketing, customer service, and product teams to ensure seamless communication and a consistent brand experience for community members
- Share best practices and insights from the community to help shape company-wide initiatives
Requirements:
Experience:
- 3+ years in community management, customer engagement, or a similar role
Skills:
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and content creation abilities
- Familiarity with social media platforms, online communities, and CRM tools
- Experience in planning and executing events and engaging with diverse audiences
- Data-driven with an ability to analyze metrics and optimize strategies
Personality:
- A creative and proactive individual with a passion for community building and delivering exceptional user experiences
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
- Experience in the hospitality, travel, or lifestyle industries
- Proficiency in German (native or fluent) and English
- Experience using community management and collaboration tools
