Covenant Woods has a fantastic career opportunity for an enthusiastic Communications Coordinator in Hanover, VA! The Communications Coordinator plays a key role in shaping the internal and external voice of Covenant Woods. They will actively contribute to media coverage of on-campus events and develop engaging campaigns that strengthen community presence both online and in print. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in the marketing and/or communications field and excellent customer service skills. The candidate must be able to build and nurture relationships with residents, clients, and department leaders.
Position Summary/Specifications:
Responsible for planning, producing, and supervising the execution of all internal communications.
Serves as liaison to media outlets under the direction of Marketing Manager.
Will design and write content for social media platforms and serves as point of contact for all social media communications.
Serves as hospitality liaison between department leaders and residents.
Ensures all common areas on campus align with company’s branding.
Creates and writes content and press releases for local publications.
Demonstrate the ability to work with older adults, including communication and listening skills.
Computer proficiency required, Microsoft Office programs.
Knowledgeable in digital design and an expert in social media platforms.
Must possess strong copywriting and proofreading skills.
Must be able to work independently and as a part of a team and with all levels of staff and facility contacts.
