Commissioning Site Manager - Marine Responsibilities
Serve as the Site Lead, implementing innovative strategies to meet project and organizational objectives.
Provide mechanical and/or electrical support to clients, internal field teams, and subcontractors.
Tackle complex, evolving tasks using sound judgment, experience, and expertise to create and execute operational goals.
Act as the primary point of contact at project sites, accountable for the full scope of on-site operations from pre-installation planning through commissioning and client handover.
Lead cross-functional teams, including both in-house staff and third-party contractors, to meet defined goals related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost.
Develop execution plans, determine staffing needs, and participate in pre-construction meetings and documentation preparation.
Document technical issues and collaborate with engineering and quality departments to address recurring problems and improve future deployments.
Manage subcontractor procurement and oversight, including bid solicitation, evaluation, and award negotiations.
Apply expert knowledge in field operations to enforce site discipline and align resources with project specifications.
Monitor ongoing project execution metrics, such as budget adherence, schedule, technical quality, safety performance, and client satisfaction.
Address project performance concerns promptly and provide decisive leadership to maintain trajectory and ensure success.
Ensure all post-delivery support and service commitments are fulfilled in accordance with contractual and performance expectations.
Commissioning Site Manager - Marine Position Requirements
At least 4 years of experience in marine electrical systems in a supervisory, site, or project management capacity.
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain clearance for federal or defense-related contracts.
Willingness and ability to travel frequently (up to 85%), sometimes with limited notice.
Commissioning Site Manager - Marine Preferred Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field (Associate degree with additional relevant experience may be considered).
3+ years of hands-on experience with advanced drive systems, including but not limited to MV7000, SD7000, or MV3000.
Proven capability to manage complex technical assignments requiring innovation and independence.
Strong field experience with system installation and commissioning practices.
Demonstrated track record of leadership success and team oversight.
Experience acting as a liaison between clients and subcontractors to drive project completion.
Solid foundation in engineering principles, project coordination, and technical service delivery.
Experience in managing construction subcontracting processes and contract administration.
