Focus Engineering is currently looking for a Commissioning / Field Service Engineer for our client active in the Maritime Industry in the Netherlands.

This concerns vacancies to become permanently employed at one of our clients.

You have to relocate to the Netherlands for this position.

The job:

• You work at various custom-made projects in the Maritime Industry focused on automated and electrical systems;
• You are involved in (in-house) testing and commissioning of Electrical and PLC / SCADA / HMI software systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Beckhoff, Omron);
• You are responsible for service and troubleshooting on board of different type of ships (dredgers, vessels or luxury yachts);
• You will be 50% of the time abroad for commissioning (worldwide). If you prefer a job that doesn't include international travelling, it is also possible.

Who are you?

• You have a degree in the field of Industrial Automation, Electronics, Maritime Engineering, Control System or similar;
• You have working experience with electrical or automation systems (PLC/SCADA);
• You have (preferably) working experience in the Maritime Industry;
• You are fluent in English (writing and speaking).

What will you earn?

• Base salary between EUR 46.000,- and EUR 65.000,- gross per year;
• Good extra allowances for being abroad;
• 38 holidays;
• Focus Engineering will guide you in relocation to the Netherlands (finding accommodation and more);
• 30% ruling: this means you will not pay any tax over the first 30% of your income in the Netherlands.
