Summary

Position Summary:

LHH is partnering with a local firm to identify an experienced and highly motivated Commercial Property Manager to oversee the daily operations and management of a portfolio of commercial properties. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial real estate, including office, retail, and/or industrial properties. This position is responsible for maintaining high occupancy levels, ensuring tenant satisfaction, optimizing property performance, and safeguarding the value of the assets.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned commercial properties, including maintenance, vendor services, and tenant relations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with tenants, ensuring high levels of tenant satisfaction and retention.
  • Oversee lease administration, including rent collection, lease renewals, and enforcement of lease terms.
  • Coordinate property inspections and ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Prepare and manage annual operating budgets, monitor financial performance, and report on variances.
  • Negotiate service contracts and supervise the performance of contractors and service providers.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining property quality and performance.
  • Oversee capital improvement projects, renovations, and tenant build-outs in collaboration with construction and design teams.
  • Respond promptly to tenant inquiries and resolve issues efficiently and professionally.
  • Ensure all risk management procedures are followed and proper insurance coverage is maintained.
  • Generate regular reports for ownership or senior management, including occupancy, financial performance, maintenance issues, and tenant concerns.
  • Stay informed about market trends and developments in commercial real estate to make informed decisions and recommendations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in commercial property management.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial lease structures, property operations, and building systems.
  • Excellent financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar systems).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPM®, RPA®, or CCIM) is a plus.


Work Environment:

This is a full-time, on-site position. Occasional travel between properties may be required.
