Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Commercial Project Manager located in Bucharest, Romania. The Commercial Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, including budgeting, finance, contract management, and ensuring effective communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and monitor project budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure cost control and margin optimization.
• Approve expenditures and validate invoices.
• Negotiate contract terms with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company policies.
• Manage contract changes, claims, and disputes.
• Support in legal and compliance-related issues.
• Present financial and project updates to senior management.
• Support business development and client relationship management.
• Collaborate with the project manager on scheduling and resource planning.
• Monitor project progress against commercial milestones.
• Ensure alignment between technical and financial objectives.
• Oversee procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency.
• Participate in supplier evaluations and contract negotiations.
• Track procurement progress against project needs.
• Prepare regular commercial reports (e.g., cost reports, risk registers).
• Document decisions, approvals, and contract changes.
• Support audits and ensure documentation meets standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in commercial project management, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Experience in budgeting, finance, and contract management
• Ability to analyze data and provide insights to stakeholders
• Ability to manage complex projects with competing priorities
• Strong knowledge of renewable energy projects, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Flexibility to travel as required.
