Commercial Operations Lead – Zurich | Hybrid

The Role:

An experienced operations professional from the insurance or insurance broking industry to take a hands-on leadership role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the commercial risk business. You’ll play a key role in process improvement, operational excellence, and supporting the wider team to deliver high-quality client service.

This is a junior leadership position ideal for someone with 2–5 years of experience looking to step into a role with more autonomy, ownership, and growth opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations including policy processing, renewals, and client servicing support
• Lead and support a small team, providing guidance and fostering a collaborative environment
• Drive process improvements and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and quality
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures and insurance industry regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues across the business to support smooth operations and client delivery
• Actively contribute to the transition and optimization of operational workflows

Your Profile:

• 2–5 years of experience in insurance, ideally within a broker or commercial insurance setting
• Strong understanding of insurance operations and client servicing processes
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with an eye for process improvement
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style
• Comfortable using modern systems and tools, including Microsoft Office
• Fluency in English required; German is a strong plus
