Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and ensuring that clients receive exceptional service. This role requires strong communication skills, a solid understanding of commercial insurance products, and the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts and serve as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Review and analyze insurance policies to ensure appropriate coverage for clients’ needs.
• Provide proactive and personalized service to clients, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with insurance carriers to negotiate terms and conditions, as well as to obtain competitive quotes for clients.
• Prepare and present insurance proposals and provide guidance to clients on coverage options.
• Stay informed about industry trends and market conditions to provide informed advice to clients.
• Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers, advocating for clients’ interests and facilitating claims processes as needed.
• Ensure compliance with insurance regulations and company policies.
  
  

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience as an Account Manager or similar role in the commercial insurance industry.
• Knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management principles.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in using insurance industry software and MS Office tools.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Relevant insurance certifications/licenses are a plus.
