We are seeking a dynamic and seasoned Commercial Lines Account Manager to join us. This role is pivotal in driving our business forward by managing and growing our commercial lines book of business. The ideal candidate will be a result-driven professional with a deep understanding of the commercial insurance landscape, and a knack for fostering strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a book of commercial insurance accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop and implement strategies for new business development, targeting potential clients in various sectors.
- Leverage your knowledge of property and casualty insurance to provide expert advice and guidance to our clients.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with insurance carriers on behalf of clients, ensuring the best possible coverage at competitive rates.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and addressing their needs promptly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and deliver consistent, high-quality service.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to ensure our offerings remain competitive and compliant.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the commercial insurance industry.
- Proven track record in managing commercial lines accounts and driving business development.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, particularly property and casualty.
- Excellent negotiation skills, with the ability to secure favorable terms and conditions for clients.
- Strong customer relationship management skills, with a focus on providing exceptional service and building long-term relationships.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and drive results.
- Current & Valid P/C license.
- Proficiency in using insurance agency management software and other relevant tools.
