True View Windows & Glass LLC has an immediate opening in our Commercial Department. The ideal candidate must have current experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry with experience in storefront, curtain wall, door frames, and/or door hardware. Responsibilities include: * Reading blueprints and performing take offs, preparing estimates and cost data * Perform material take-offs from architectural drawings, create quotes for our customers * Build and maintain files including bid documents and estimate sheets. * Communicate with contractors to review bids and contract follow up. * Manage multiple construction projects. * Manage submittal process with contractors; prepare, submit, and review returned submittals. * Prepare and submit change orders. * Manage customer satisfaction, project budgets, quality of work, and completion dates for all projects. * Occasional job site visits * Assist with project management. * Must be self motivated, have strong work ethic, able to work independently, have time management skills and function as a part of the team. * Growth potential is unlimited. Required Qualifications: * Prior experience (at least 2 years) commercial estimating and project management for the glass industry. * Experience reading plans and understanding shop drawings, delta changes and revisions. * Knowledge of glass and glazing / door and hardware manufacturers. * Knowledge of safety codes. * Experience with Microsoft office tools.
