About The Role

The Commercial Client Director has a pivotal role within the MeMo² business and broader Media domain within Kantar. As a trusted client partner, you will be responsible for growing and generating new business, as well as identifying opportunities with existing clients. You will do so by leveraging your substantial media expertise and your network within the industry.

This is your opportunity to make a significant impact on the growth of our business while leveraging some of our most innovative solutions, such as Kantar Marketplace, Link AI, and THX.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate leads and acquire new business within the media domain.
  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
  • Leverage your domain expertise to follow up on pitches and lead client discussions.
  • Act as a strategic client partner and leverage insights and solutions based on their business needs.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve revenue targets.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure long-term collaboration.
  • Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to plan and execute campaigns and drive lead generation.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling within existing client portfolios.
  • Contribute to the growth and success of the organisation by driving commercial initiatives.
  • Coach team members by providing actionable feedback, supporting a culture of always getting better.

Your Profile

  • Proven track record in winning long-term clients and extending partnership agreements.
  • Strong network within the media and marketing industry in the Netherlands.
  • Excellent knowledge and expertise in the fields of media, advertising, and market research, to lead strategic client conversations and follow up on pitches.
  • Strategic thinking and planning skills to achieve revenue targets.
  • Experience in building and maintaining sustainable client relationships.
  • Affinity for research and data-driven decision making.
  • Growth mindset and strong coaching skills, fostering a winning culture.
  • Proficiency in both Dutch and English.
  • Willing to work in our Amsterdam office (min. 3 days/week), and regularly travel to different client locations across the Netherlands.
