Job Description
Dobbs Defense Solutions is looking for a Combat Control Systems Technician to add to our team. The ideal candidate will provide technical evaluation and perform the required corrective actions for AN/BYG-1 systems in accordance with DoD, Navy Maintenance Procedures, and Cyber System instruction. The technician will assist in the disassembly, reassembly, installation and testing of the AN/BYG-1 systems of submarines and provide support in a variety of engineering tasks in the installation, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and operation of AN/BYG-1 systems in accordance with engineering specifications.
Duties
Assist with test and evaluation; perform validations/verifications of AN/BYG-1 systems
Assist in accomplishing Engineering Change Instructions (ECI)
Develop technical/engineering data for Planned Maintenance Systems, technical manuals, troubleshooting procedures, drawing updates, operation procedures, and maintainability improvements
Support systems engineering activities with subject matter expertise
Direct on-site customer interface for equipment/systems installation, testing, survey, fabrication, and other engineering tasks as needed
Qualifications Required Education and Experience:
Technical (Military/Trade) school/training beyond high school and at least 5 years of job-related experience or an equivalent
Hands-on experience configuring, troubleshooting, repairing networking equipment and Windows servers and workstations
US Military systems/network experience
AN/BYG-1 Combat Systems Experience
Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
