Now, we're looking for a detail-oriented Medical Coder to join our team and help us ensure precision, compliance, and excellence in medical coding and reimbursement.
Compensation:
$22 - $27 per hour, based on experience:
* Low Range: Entry-level experience with foundational skills.
* Mid Range: Solid experience with demonstrated proficiency.
* High Range: Extensive experience with a proven track record of success.
Pay will be evaluated based on experience, skills, and qualifications during the hiring process.
Work Arrangement:
️ Hybrid Role! The first 90 days will be in-office for training. After that, enjoy a flexible schedule with 2 days in the office & 3 days remote per week!

What You'll Be Doing:
Accurately review, code, and input diagnoses & procedures using ICD-10 and procedure codes Ensure coding compliance across multiple medical specialties Collaborate with billing teams to facilitate timely payments Analyze and resolve insurance denials related to coding issues Conduct audits & coding reviews to maintain the highest standards Provide expert guidance to leadership and staff on coding best practices Stay updated on industry regulations to ensure compliance ️ Work in a high-volume coding & collections environment while maintaining quality
Qualifications
What You Bring to the Table:
5+ years of medical coding experience Certified coder (CPC, CCS, CCA, etc.) - preferred before hire ️ 2+ years' experience coding for physicians or surgeons Medical terminology & anatomy expertise Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel & Word (Bonus: Advanced Excel knowledge! ) Fast & accurate data entry skills ️ Superior communication skills - written & verbal ️️ Ability to work independently & in a team
