Compensation is based on experience! This position requires experience. 1 to 2 years of either Dental or Medical billing and coding experience is needed. Responsible for assisting in the day to day activities of the insurance department. You will work alongside the Office Manager/ Insurance Specialist 1 to create an efficient insurance team in a busy Oral Surgery Practice. Tasks include but are not limited to: Determination of insurance benefits, preparation of insurance claims, prepare and present financial treatment plan options to patients, explain office policy to patients efficiently and kindly, report to and work directly with the office manager to maintain timely claim filing, follow up with insurance claims sent and assist in the resolution of problems with those claims, etc...
