First Quality Machine, Inc. is a small family owned Job Shop in Athens, GA We are currently seeking a CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our team. Our shop is equipped with Mazak CNC Mills and Lathes along with manual machines. This position is a full-time position working 7:30-4:00 Monday thru Friday, with occasional overtime available. Position Requirements include: 1. Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings. 2. Ability to program CNC Mills/Lathes using conversational programming. 3. Ability to operate said programs to the completion of parts to customer specifications. 4. Ability to ensure that parts are within quality and tolerance guidelines. 5. Ability to problem solve. 6. Ability to multi-task and handle all tasks as assigned. 7. Desire to learn and grow. Minimum Positions Requirements include: 1. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 2. 2 years experience as a Machinist with at least 1 year experience in Programming. 3. Excellent math skills and attention to detail. 4. Ability to use and interpret measuring equipment to ensure tolerance of parts. 5. Knowledge of various tooling and ability to use tooling in operation of machines. 6. Ability to maintain a safe and clean enviroment and perform routine machine maintenance. First Quality Machine offers an attractive wage package based on applicants experience/training.
