Job Description: CNC Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to create CNC programs and part drawings for various machine parts and tools, including CNC lathes and machining centers. This role involves offline programming using MasterCAM and Solidworks software. The position offers long-term potential for growth and the flexibility to work from home at times.

Responsibilities

  • Create CNC programs and part drawings for various machine parts and tools for multiple machine types, including CNC lathes and machining centers.
  • Provide testing and troubleshooting of programs upon completion.
  • Perform offline programming away from the machine in the office on the computer.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team and report to the Engineering Lead Programmer.

Essential Skills

  • One year or more of CNC Machine – Programming Experience, setup, and operation experience (Haas Machinery / Fanuc Controls).
  • Knowledge of Drawing Standards, including concepts like geometric tolerancing, surface finishes, etc.
  • Strong familiarity with MasterCAM X-Series of software, specifically versions used for offline programming.
  • Strong familiarity with Solidworks CAD software, specifically 2017 versions.
  • Familiarity with machining toolpaths, setups, and work holding.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
