Role Description

This is a contract role for a CNC Programmer located on-site in northern Ireland. The CNC Programmer will be responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs for precision machining operations. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting technical blueprints, setting up CNC machinery, performing trial runs, and making necessary adjustments to ensure machine accuracy. The role also involves maintaining equipment, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all safety protocols are strictly followed.

Qualifications

• Proficient in CNC Programming and operating CNC machinery
• Experience with interpreting technical blueprints and CAD files
• Competent in using programming languages and software for CNC machines
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of machining operations and tools
• Attention to detail and quality control experience
• Prior experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Relevant technical certification or diploma in CNC Programming, Engineering, or a related field
