Job Description

DN Solutions is currently seeking a CNC Parts Engineer to plan, coordinate, maintain, provide technical clarification, and develop the engineering side of parts operations. This role is essential in ensuring the efficient handling of parts information management, quality control, and technical support for both internal and external customers. The position is based at our Schaumburg IL location.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide technical identification of CNC parts and their purpose to customers and employees.
• Offer technical parts assistance to both customers and employees as needed.
• Create and maintain up-to-date CNC machine parts technical documents, to ensure customers have access to accurate parts information.
• Handle customer technical inquiries, concerns, or complaints promptly and according to company guidelines.
• Ensure customers receive the correct parts for the successful repair of their machines.
• Oversee CNC parts quality control, inspecting incoming and returned parts for damage and verifying their readiness for stock.
• Collaborate with Global HQ Parts Factory to address any quality issues with parts and facilitate necessary rectifications.
• Establish and update parts pricing that balances volume, customer loyalty, and operational costs.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.
  
  

Job Requirements

• High School Degree required.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in the CNC machine tool industry required.
• A technical or mechanical engineering degree is preferred.
• Strong product knowledge of parts and CNC machines preferred.
• Ability to read blueprint drawings of CNC machines and parts.
• Ability to interpret and understand electrical schematics.
• 2 to 5 years of experience working with SAP is highly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to lift up-to 50 lbs.
• On-site Monday-Friday, at our Schaumburg, IL location.
