We are recruiting for an Established Toolmakers, renowned for delivering dynamic tooling across the UK and internationally. We are looking for a skilled Toolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmer to join our growing team and manufacture bespoke components that make a real impact.\n\nWho Are We Looking For?\nAn innovator with a passion for engineering and problem-solving. You are a skilled machinist with over 4 years of experience working as a Toolmaker / CNC Miller Machinist - Programmer.
You possess a solid foundation in CNC machining with 3D experience, along with strong engineering know-how. You thrive on precision, are detail-oriented, and enjoy working both autonomously and collaboratively. You are comfortable with managing your own workload and consistently meeting high-quality standards.\n\nKey Requirements :\n\n * Experience : 4+ years in a CNC Machinist Programmer / Toolmaker role.\n\n * Qualifications : Time-served Tool Maker qualifications or successful completion of an Engineering Apprenticeship.\n\n * CNC Programming : 4 + years’ experience (preferred).\n\n * 3D CAD Cam : 1 + years’ experience (preferred).\n\n * Skills : Strong understanding of CNC machining centres, mechanical drawings, and bespoke component manufacturing.\n\n * Knowledge : ISO9001 quality standards and ability to work with tight tolerances.\n\n * Knowledge : Hurco programming Winmax desirable but not essential.\n\n * Mindset : A curious, problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.\n\n * Communication : Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally across teams.\n\nRole & Responsibilities :\nYou will play a hands-on role within our Manufacturing/Toolroom department.
The role involves :\n\n * Setting, programming, and operating CNC milling machines.\n\n * Working with a variety of materials and producing precision parts daily.\n\n * Ensuring machine utilisation is maximised and downtime minimised.\n\n * Inspecting your own work to ensure it meets ISO9001 standards.\n\n * Working with engineering drawings and tight tolerances.\n\n * Supporting other departments and collaborating with team members across the company
