Responsibilities

As a CNC Mill Machinist, your primary responsibilities will include

• Operating and maintaining CNC mills and lathes in accordance with company standards.
• Utilizing CNC programming knowledge to optimize machining processes.
• Setting up and operating machines from blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts.
• Inspecting completed works for defects and ensuring conformance to specifications.
• Troubleshooting and resolving machine malfunctions.
• Collaborating with the engineering team to develop and implement process improvements.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
• Assisting with tooling and tool and die activities as required.
• Meeting or exceeding production deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.
  
  

Qualifications

To be considered for the CNC Mill Machinist role, you must have

• A minimum of 5 years' experience as a CNC Machine Operator, specifically with mills and lathes.
• Proficiency with a variety of CNC systems, including Haas, Takisawa, and Fanuc.
• Extensive experience in Aerospace Manufacturing and/or Aerospace and Defense sectors.
• A proven track record of setting up CNC machines and tooling.
• Familiarity with tool and die activities.
• The ability to work with high tolerances and maintain attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency.
