Description: Job Title: CNC Machinist Reports To: CNC Supervisor Summary: We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating parts, determining the best manufacturing methods, programming, and operating a variety of CNC equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure high-quality production. Requirements: General Duties and Responsibilities: Review and evaluate parts to determine machining requirements. Select appropriate tooling and manufacturing methods for optimal production. Program CNC 3/4/5 axis machines. Operate manual equipment such as saws, lathes, grinders, and sanders. Set up tooling and fixturing as needed. Design fixtures, jaws, and inspection gauges to support machining operations. Run production jobs ranging from single pieces to high-volume batches. Inspect basic dimensions at the machine and collaborate with the quality department. Maintain a clean machine and organized work area. Work overtime as needed. Education, Training, Skills, and Experience: Associate’s degree in Machine Tool Technology or 1+ years of machining experience. Proficiency in Mastercam and/or Surfcam preferred. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T tolerancing. Strong computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Strong technical aptitude, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset. Experience using hand and power tools. Familiarity with common measuring equipment. Knowledge of CMM and PC-DMIS PRO is a plus. Forklift experience is a plus. Understanding of basic safety standards and procedures.
