CNC Machinist / Programmer will be responsible for part production being given a model and/or drawing and will program, create fixtures, setup, 3-5 Axis Mill and Lathes (Haas). There are some close tolerance (0.0002+/-").
Duties and Responsibilities:
Programming CAM data for part production.
Prepare to set-up job (e.g., production orders, fixturing) or run previously set-up job by reviewing work orders, working with operator's or setup documents, drawings.
Perform machining operations using manual/CNC machines, as required.
Assist other employees with setups, methods and procedures, by passing on verbal and written information and answering questions.
Typical Education:
High school graduate or GED preferred.
Required Skills & Experience:
Experience in setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators.
This position requires constant standing and walking, frequent bending at the waist, twisting, pushing/pulling, occasional kneeling and crawling, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
Actual machining experience is required.
Product manufacturing from model to finished part required.
