A small machine shop in Plano is needing an experienced CNC machinist. CNC Machinist will be responsible for part production being given a model and/or drawing and will program, create fixtures, setup, 3-5 Axis Mill and Lathes (Haas). There is close tolerance (0.0002+/-") work from primarily aluminum and stainless. Duties and Responsibilities: - Prepare to set-up job (e.g., production orders, first article, fixturing) or run previously set-up job by reviewing work orders, working with operator's or setup documents, drawings or 3D models. - Perform machining operations using manual/CNC machines, as required. - Assist other employees with setups, methods and procedures, by passing on verbal and written information and answering questions. - Experienced Mastercam user with recent daily usage. Certifications preferred but not required. - Experience in setting and using precision measuring tools and equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and/or dial indicators. - This position requires constant standing and walking, frequent bending at the waist, twisting, pushing/pulling, occasional kneeling and crawling, and lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds. - Actual machining experience is required. - Product manufacturing from model to finished part required. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
