An established precision manufacturing company located in the greater Indianapolis area is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its growing team. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to work in a clean, well-equipped environment producing high-tolerance components for a specialized industry.

About the Role

In this hands-on role, you'll set up and operate CNC lathes or mills to produce complex parts to tight specifications. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in craftsmanship, has a solid understanding of machining practices, and is comfortable with a variety of control systems.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Set up and run CNC machinery to manufacture high-precision parts
• Read engineering drawings and use GD&T to ensure accurate production
• Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and bore gages
• Adjust machine offsets, perform tool changes, and make minor program edits
• Monitor machining processes to maintain quality and consistency
• Perform first article and in-process inspections
• Contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Who You Are:

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience in a precision environment preferred.
• Proficient with lathes and/or mills and control systems.
• Skilled at reading complex blueprints and using precision inspection tools
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or collaboratively
• Willing to work flexible shifts or occasional overtime
