Position: Machinist for 1st Shift Location: Arlington, Texas Description/Tasks: Dayton Rogers of Texas is seeking a Machinist. This position is responsible for setup and operation of CNC mill machines and manual lathes to cut metal parts in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate should two to five years of operating in a manufacturing environment. Ability to operate a machine with direct physical activity using hands and arms. Make quick and precise movements with fingers and hands to grasp, place, position, move and manipulate parts. Monitor and operate both CNC mill & HASS machining center, perform some program adjustments as required. Set up machines using all standard attachments and accessories Select cutters, speeds and feeds as required Work from engineering drawings, tooling drawings, engineering change documents, manufacturing planning, sketches, and verbal instructions Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using precision tools to ensure parts meet accuracy and quality standards. Ability to read blue prints, math skills and process information and record all data.
