You get a print, you make the shaft. That means you analyze how to do the job, order new tooling as required, program, tool up, manage, adjust, and make the part. - Shaft work; Understand the nuances of working on long shafts to meet tight tolerances in size, roundness, concentricity, etc. - Manage tooling and maintenance on equipment you are in charge of. - Meet with management on your schedule of work, and discussing any changes you would like to machine space set up or work flow. QUALIFICATIONS - Proficiency and experience with Mazatrol. Familiarity with Mazatrol programming is required, additional training available. -Ability to do all programming of complex shaft work from a printed drawing, to include math required. - Proficiency with precision shaft work. - Strong knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) and ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
