Description: Operate one or more of a variety of stand, CNC Lathes, CNC Machining Centers, or Specialty Machines. Requirements: Operate production metal cutting machinery to produce machined parts having a very close requirements as to tolerances and finish, requiring skill and technique, according to specific quantities, accurately recording counts as required. Diagnose and rectify simple tooling problems and machine malfunctions to assure acceptable products. Change tools as needed and make program offsets to tools. Work from drawings, process sheets, and instructions from supervisors. Read blueprints and inspect parts using a variety of measuring instruments and prescribed gages. Read control and quality plans, understand inspection requirements. Record data on production records and inspection's data sheets.
