Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Performs part processing per provided work instruction and/or verbal instruction.
• Interprets drawing requirements.
• Selects & utilizes appropriate cutting tools and work holding for various materials and machining processes.
• Performs precise measurements & inspections to ensure parts meet stringent quality control standards.
• Manages tooling & fixturing as required.
• Reports faulty hardware, processes, & non-conformances to immediate supervisor.
• Maintains a clean & safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
• May assist with developing new machining methods & tooling for complex parts.
• Actively engages in and initiates continuous improvement activities.
• Interprets geometric dimensions & tolerances.
• May perform machine adjustments & maintenance.
• Responsible for accurate entries into ERP system.
• Responsible for in-process inspections & may require finessing.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of two (2) years CNC lathe & milling operation experience
• High school degree or equivalent
• Able to change/replace tools & inserts
• Able to read & interpret technical drawings & inspect parts during production
• Able to follow processes & documentations
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift heavy equipment & materials up to 50lbs
• Specific vision abilities include close & distance vision, depth perception, & ability to adjust focus
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel, as well as reach with hands & arms
• Capable of standing for long periods & working in industrial settings (e.g., machine shops)
• Ability to withstand loud noise environment
