Position Description: Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced CNC Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience operating CNC machines. The CNC Operator will be responsible for efficiently and accurately operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining production schedules. This is a crucial role that requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines, such as mills or lathes, according to job specifications, blueprints, and work orders.
• Load and unload workpieces, tools, and/or fixtures onto CNC machines, ensuring proper alignment and secure clamping.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on CNC machines, such as lubrication, tool replacement, and cleaning.
• Conduct regular inspections and measurements of machined parts using precision instruments to verify conformance to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members, such as programmers, operators, and quality control personnel, to optimize processes and meet production goals.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment and prevent accidents or injuries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of production activities, including inspection reports and machine maintenance records.
• Continuously strive for process improvement, suggesting and implementing ideas to enhance efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CNC Operator, working with mills, lathes, or similar CNC machines.
• Experience with precision measurement instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to consistently produce high-quality parts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions to ensure uninterrupted production.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for operating CNC machines.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues across different departments.
