dont apply or waste my time if you do not have great skills on LATHE
i need someone i can plug in my small shop/ team and immediately boost my shops skills of the lathe department.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Load and unload raw materials and finished parts onto the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Perform routine maintenance on machines and tools
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a CNC lathe operator or similar role
- Proficient in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements
- Experience with tooling selection and setup for different materials
- Knowledge of materials handling procedures and safety precautions
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
