Overview TESSEC is a full service precision machining company with integrated in-house capability from design through assembly. We are seeking a skilled/experienced CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in programming and operating CNC lathes and will be responsible for producing high-quality components with precision and efficiency. This role requires attention to detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Operate CNC lathe machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD files to understand production requirements. Set up machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tools and fixtures. Monitor machine operations to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations. Package finished products for shipment or further processing. Skills Proficiency in operating CNC lathes and familiarity with Fanuc programming is preferred. Experience with machining processes, including stamping press operations. Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings effectively. Knowledge of factory operations and fabrication techniques. Forklift operation skills are a plus for material handling tasks. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
