Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Additional job duties may be assigned. Current opening is 2nd shift, starting at 3:30pm.

• Set up and run CNC Lathe with Mazatrol controller.
• Lathe Checks to ensure details are finished to print.
• Setting of Tools in Lathe.
• Some G and M code editing required.
• Must have own tools.
• Must be self-motivated.
• Demonstrate safe work habits.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Education/Experience/Certifications

To effectively carry out duties and responsibilities, the following education, experience, or certifications are preferred:

• This position requires successful completion of 4 years of high school, or equivalent plus a two-year technical degree in CNC.
• This position requires 2-3 years of experience operating CNC equipment. Computer proficient, advanced math, ability to read technical drawings, and communicate information effectively to others.

• Speak effectively with work colleagues.
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, etc.
• Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

• Apply mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, as well as basic algebra.
