Title: CNC Field Service Engineer

Location: Mundelein, IL

Job Type: Full Time/Permanent

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

Job Duties

• Conduct field service at customer facilities, ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of CNC tool & cutter grinding machines.
• Provide comprehensive support to customers onsite, by phone, and via email, addressing inquiries and troubleshooting issues promptly and effectively.
• Travel up to 80% to support customer needs, including domestic and international travel.
  
  

Ideal Candidates

• Technical field service experience with CNC grinding machinery, including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting machine problems both on-site and remotely, including answering customer inquiries regarding maintenance, mechanical/electrical drawings, and part identification.
• Experience with the installation of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.
• "Hands-on " individual with a strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret and comprehend electrical, mechanical, and other technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of electrical and fluid power circuits is preferred.

• CNC grinding experience, troubleshooting CNC machines, remote support
