CMS Content Coordinator to join our team.
Position Overview
As the
CMS Content Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing our WordPress content publishing workflow, ensuring that articles, educational contents are uploaded, updated, formatted, and published accurately, on-brand, and on time.
You’ll work closely with our marketing, and design teams to ensure every published page reflects our tone of voice and quality standards, while maintaining SEO best practices and editorial consistency.
This is a hands-on role focused on
content implementation and quality assurance. You will also act as the final checkpoint before content goes live, ensuring structure, layout, visuals, metadata, and links are all working smoothly. You may also be involved in optimizing existing content for formatting or minor updates.
This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable in WordPress, understands structured content management, and is obsessive about precision.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload, format, and publish content within WordPress (including blog posts, educational content, website content blocks, testimonials, etc.)
- Ensure consistency across pages (headings, typography, layout spacing, imagery, links)
- Embed multimedia components (images, infographics, videos, CTAs)
- Apply correct categories, tags, featured images, and SEO metadata
- Perform thorough checks before publishing: broken links, image loading, mobile responsiveness, grammar/spelling, and brand tone
- Maintain internal content libraries (reusable blocks, templates, featured content modules)
- Collaborate with the marketing team for scheduling, revisions, or updates
- Track and manage content status (draft, in review, scheduled, live)
- Support localization and fallback publishing for multiple languages
Suggest workflow or CMS improvements where applicable
Must Have Qualifications
- Proven experience managing and publishing content in WordPress
- Strong attention to detail — you notice inconsistencies others miss
- Comfortable working with structured content and reusable components
- Familiarity with SEO best practices, content modelling & formatting, and metadata tagging
- Able to follow content guidelines and brand tone of voice closely
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Worked with multilingual websites
- Experience working with remote teams and asynchronous workflows
Nice to Have
- Experience in health, wellness, or scientific/educational publishing
- HTML/CSS knowledge
- Understanding of accessibility standards
- Familiarity with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Tag Manager)
Contract and Working Setup
- Freelance/contract-based role with flexible hours
- Estimated workload: 10–20 hours/week, depending on volume
- Must be available for weekly check-ins (EU time zone preferred)
