About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer to join our consulting team and support the uplift of a mission-critical platform for one of our investment banking clients. This role is focused on enabling seamless deployment into a modern AWS-based infrastructure while ensuring high availability and zero-downtime releases across over 1,000 services.
You’ll work closely with an existing team to deliver a robust CI/CD strategy, modernize legacy deployment pipelines, and implement scalable release mechanisms such as blue-green deployments and cloud-native backup strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the deployment and scalability of services on a newly uplifted AWS cloud platform
- Implement and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support frequent, zero-downtime releases
- Collaborate with development and platform teams to modernize legacy systems without disruption
- Design and manage automated cloud backup strategies to ensure data durability and recovery
- Drive improvements in infrastructure resilience, observability, and scalability
- Share knowledge, support existing DevOps teams, and contribute to a high-performance engineering culture
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Services (ECS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience with blue-green or canary deployments in complex microservice environments
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills in cross-functional teams
- Comfortable working 3 days onsite with a collaborative, client-facing team
Nice to Have
- Prior experience in financial services or high-stakes regulated environments
- Familiarity with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Consulting background or experience in enterprise-scale transformation programs
