We’re looking for a seasoned Cloud Systems/Services Architect to help shape and lead our clients’ cloud journeys. In this role, you’ll design and implement enterprise-scale AWS environments with a focus on secure, scalable, and cost-optimized architecture. You’ll define cloud strategies, lead multi-account designs, support networking and hybrid integrations, and ensure compliance with federal frameworks like NIST and FedRAMP. As a Cloud Systems/Services Architect You Will
Define the high-level migration strategy and AWS landing zone design.
Design multi-account structure using Control Tower and SCPs.
Create enterprise-level diagrams and architecture documentation.
Collaborate with security for boundary and compliance planning.
Drive architecture reviews and AWS Well-Architected assessments.
Provide guidance on vendor integrations and service interoperability.
Requirements
Proven experience developing cloud adoption strategies aligned with enterprise goals and governance frameworks, including NIST and FedRAMP.
Deep expertise in multi-account AWS environments, including AWS Organizations, Control Tower, Service Control Policies (SCPs), and account vending for large-scale implementations.
Strong proficiency in AWS networking and connectivity services such as Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPC peering, with experience integrating hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
Demonstrated ability to design resilient, highly available cloud architectures across multiple Availability Zones and regions, including robust failover mechanisms.
Solid understanding of cost modeling and optimization strategies using tools like the AWS Pricing Calculator, along with experience planning for Reserved Instances and cost-effective architecture.
In-depth knowledge of compliance-aware architecture, including federal security baselines (e.g., NIST 800-53), system boundary definitions, and the AWS shared responsibility model.
Bachelor's degree in related technical field.
US Citizenship Required.
AWS certifications highly preferred.
