Job description:

The Enterprise Architect role applies vast experience of system architecture and data architecture with knowledge of infrastructure domains, latest technologies to support key IT initiatives. The candidate must apply their knowledge of IT best practices appropriately to define IT solutions. The individual must possess the ability to analyze solutions and technologies and provide solution architecture for organization's current and future needs. The candidate would have to support business architecture needs of the portfolio by working with business partners. The candidate will be responsible for but not limited to reviewing business and technical requirements, focusing on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development, evangelizing best practices and proven patterns, and escalating architecture issues and concerns. The candidate will promote the use of Corporate IT standards, and will create architectures and designs, and will develop target state architectures. Job Functions:

• Hands on design & implementation exposure to AWS native services
• Data Analytics solutioning experience in AWS cloud using AWS native services (EMR, Redshift, Athena etc.), Apache Spark framework and using Python, or R.
• SaaS/COTS solutions capabilities analysis and recommend integration architecture
• Provide security architecture for applications and SaaS solutions
• Provide solutions based on Enterprise Integration patterns, Event Driven Architecture, API, Web services, SOA and Micro Services
• Good understanding of Enterprise data containers including TDS, ODS, Data warehouse, DataMart and Enterprise Data Lake
• Exposure to relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server or Netezza & hands-on development using Java or Python
• Experience with application servers and containers such as JBoss, Tomcat, WebLogic
• Exposure to architecting application resiliency & performance optimization
• Significant experience understanding & delivering business architecture
• Strong process flow mapping, design and graphical experience
• Excellent communication, presentation, and architecture documentation skills
• Professional demeanor

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 6-8 years of related experience
• AWS Solution Architect Associate or Professional certification and with hands on experience
• Good understanding of Advanced Analytics, Data Science and ML
• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) / JIRA knowledge for activities management, projects tracking • Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• • Experience with Enterprise related concepts, designs, and project implementations
• • Ability to operate & lead at strategic and tactical levels with no or minimum supervision
• • Ability to prioritize among many requirements and cross functional coordination and integration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Mortgage Industry knowledge experience
• TOGAF Certification or a good understanding of TOGAF or other EA frameworks
• Hands on POCs development experience for Data Science and AI/ML initiatives
