As a Cloud Services Engineer you will help build and maintain core AWS infrastructure that supports secure, scalable, and highly available cloud environments. You will provision and configure foundational AWS services like EC2, RDS, VPC, and S3, while implementing best practices around networking, load balancing, monitoring, and backup. You’ll also play a key role in automating infrastructure using tools like CloudFormation or Terraform, and ensuring operational excellence through tagging, alerting, and optimization strategies. This is a great opportunity to shape resilient cloud environments that power mission-critical workloads.

As a Cloud Services Engineer You Will

Build out foundational AWS services (VPC, EC2, RDS, S3).

Configure load balancing, autoscaling groups, and endpoint security.

Setup routing, firewalls, NATs, and direct connect gateways.

Implement monitoring, alerting, and operational dashboards.

Perform maintenance tasks, patching, and system optimization.

Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation or Terraform.

Requirements

3+ years of hands-on experience provisioning and managing core AWS infrastructure services, including EC2, RDS, VPC, Route 53, ELB, and S3.

Strong knowledge of AWS networking concepts such as VPC architecture, subnetting, security groups, NACLs, and Internet/NAT Gateway configurations.

Proven experience implementing resiliency and monitoring solutions using AWS tools like Auto Scaling, CloudWatch (alarms and metric filters), and CloudTrail.

Expertise in designing and automating backup and disaster recovery strategies, including snapshot scheduling, AWS Backup, and multi-region failover planning.

Familiarity with resource and cost management best practices, including tagging strategies, AWS Config rules, and usage of Trusted Advisor for optimization and compliance.

Bachelor's degree in related technical field.

US Citizenship Required.

AWS certifications highly preferred.
