Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer
Job Description
The Cloud Security Engineer will be responsible for the protection of our information, Intellectual Property (IP), and assets, as well as those of our customers and suppliers. This includes developing and utilizing our Public cloud (IaaS, PaaS) through the setup and/or alignment of our Information Security strategies and security standards/guidelines while interfacing with the Business. The role also involves enforcing system, application, and access security controls within the cloud. This position will continuously assess and report on the effectiveness of the security controls across people, processes, and technology levels.
Responsibilities
* Protect information, IP, and assets within the Public cloud (IaaS, PaaS).
* Set up and align Information Security strategies and security standards/guidelines.
* Interface with Business to enforce system, application, and access security controls within the cloud.
* Continuously assess and report on the effectiveness of security controls at people, process, and technology levels.
Essential Skills
* Experience with Azure and GCP (not AWS).
* Conducting security assessments.
* Experience with IaaS and PaaS.
* Defining and maintaining the cloud security framework.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
* Experience with AI and artificial intelligence.
* Knowledge of export control.
* Experience designing and driving cloud architecture for a large multinational company is a huge plus.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role that requires 3 days onsite with 2 days at home. You will work primarily with Cloud Architects based at HQ in the Netherlands and receive direction from them. You will support the Cloud Center of Excellence for the company, which is based at HQ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $190000.00/yr.
15% bonus target

This is a hybrid position in San Jose,CA.
